How to make an appointment You can book a face-to-face appointment with a doctor in Blyth between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm or at Newsham between 9.00 am and 5.30 pm with a late night to 6.00 pm on a Wednesday. At all times you should indicate the degree of urgency. It is expected that patients attend for appointments in good time. If you are unable to keep your appointment please inform reception as soon as possible. Patients can express a preference of GP and every effort will be made to allow patients to see their preferred doctor, although this may not always be possible. Opportunistic health checks will be made when appropriate to ensure the best health care is provided.
We are committed to the provision of high quality, patient led services. Being a training practice we have registrars and F2 doctors who carry out consultations within the practice, under the supervision of Drs Bedi and Cordner. As well as the GP's we have our nurse practitioner Joe Tynan, practice nurse Beverly Guiseley and Health Care Assistants Bev and Katy. We have a full compliment of attached staff who, although not directly employed by the practice, work closely with us as part of the practice team. Other important team members of the practice include the receptionists and clerical staff. Our receptionists and clerical staff can answer many of your queries but more complex administrative matters may be handed to the practice manager, Sharon Thompson.
