Boteco Do Brasil in (Pubs)

62 Trongate, Glasgow, G1 5EP

01415481330

A 'boteco' in Brasil is more of a neighbourhood bar than a full-on restaurant, and our boteco at Trongate is as much about caipirinhas and bossa nova as it is about dinner. Wind your way through the crowd drinking around the bar (and dancing to regular live Latin bands) to a table at the rear. Sit down amid colourful beach and carnival-themed murals and indulge in hearty Brasilian dishes such as xinxin, a spicy Feijoada (Brasilian feast stew withblack beans), or moqueca, a seafood dish featuring coconut milk and north-east Brasil's signature ingredient, dende palm oil. Try some of our famous home made tapas, available as starters or to share with some friends over drinks (try our 3 for £9 deal). Whether its live music, the DJ or the traditional upbeat latin music adding to the atmosphere, Boteco Do Brasil is the perfect place to relax, enjoy a killer cocktail and indulge your tastebuds.

Bon Accord in (Pubs)

153 North Street, Glasgow, Lanarkshire, G3 7DA

0141 248 4427

The Bon Accord is located in Glasgow's Ancient Burgh of Anderston, which dates back to the early 1700's, on a site where mansions and gardens of some of the city's wealthiest merchants once stood. The current building dates from the mid nineteenth century and was first used as a stable for the horses of neighbouring residents and tradesmen. By 1870 the property was converted for the use of the many trades people who were to run their business from 153 North Street over the years, including Miss Russell (dressmaker), John Glen (painter) and J.R. Milne who sold bathtubs from 1884 to the 1930's. Between 1930 and the mid '60s more businesses occupied the premises including a service engineer for 'domestic appliances'. By the late '60s however the area was changed beyond all recognition with the coming of the Motorway which was built parallel to North Street as it cut its way through the city. By 1973 the Bon Accord was born and became the mecca for Glasgow's real ale community th
