It was opened with a showpiece game against Ajax in July 1997 and initially had a capacity of 42,000. I have just had carpets and Amtico fitted from Sunderland Carpet Centre in Sunderland and I am really pleased with the results. From entering the shop we were welcomed and supported in our choices. They allowed us to take samples home several times until we were sure we had the shades right. Our dates were booked and time schedules were kept for the fitting and the two men who came were very professional. The Amtico has several stages which means they had to come back over the four days, every day I was pleased with the standard of their work and the non-intrusive manner. The finished result was better than I could have imagined, and I would go straight back to them in the future if I wanted any more work doing.

cant praise this company enough traveled from Manchester to empty my mothers house after she sadly died we had 5 company out they were by far cheapest they were brilliant very friendly and very careful and fast workers made a very hard experience a bit easier they emptied everything cupboards wardrobes would recommend to anyone thank you
