Patricks of Camelon has a total of 15 employees. Each employee has his or her very own and definitely unique character.
QuickStart is a successful project run by Grangemouth Enterprises in conjunction with Falkirk Homeless Project, to provide furniture, soft furnishings, white goods and kitchen starter packs to homeless people who have been recently re-housed. Clients are referred to the organisation through Falkirk Council and local Housing Associations. GEL's service is fast, efficient and ensures that people who need an extra hand get the start that can change their lives.
Working alongside regular staff at GEL are young trainees from the local area who are identified as being not in education, employment or training. GEL provides a 13 week work placement and training opportunity for these youngsters who work towards SQA accredited qualifications during their time with the organisation. The benefit of this innovative training programme for the trainees is solid work experience which assists them to find longer term employment.
