Great location with views down the river and of the city. In winter they provide blankets outside so that you can cosy up into the evening.
A fantastic use for a magnificent building. Worth a look if only to walk through the turbine hall!

Thomas Knyvett is a familiar name to the local community and the decision to name the college after such a prominent historical figure is well received by staff and students alike. Knyvett is nationally recognised not only for his contribution to the maintenance of law and order through his role in foiling the gunpowder plot, but for the loyalty he displayed as Master of the Mint and for his philanthropy, particularly in the field of education. His will provided for the foundation in Stanwell of the Lord Knyvett Free-School in 1624.

Stagecoach Staines is the leading Performing Arts School in Staines for children aged 4-18. We offer the chance to train in the three musical theatre disciplines under one roof, so it eliminates the need to take separate singing lessons, drama classes and dance classes. Stagecoach Staines operates from Thomas Knyvett College in Ashford and attracts students from Sunbury- On-Thames, Ashford, Egham, Feltham, Staines and surrounding areas. In our Main School (6-18 year olds), students are given an Hour to Act, an Hour to Dance and an Hour to sing. They quickly gain confidence and self-esteem. Our drama, dance and singing classes encourage creativity and we offer first class training in Performing Arts. For younger children (aged 4-6) our 'Early Stages School', offers singing, dance and acting lessons in 90-minute sessions.
