Marsha George Dance Academy
Marsha started dancing at the aged of eight years old and went on to train at the Northern Ballet school. During her time at the college she appeared in numerous shows and was given many solos. This lead to the critics giving her wonderful reviews in the Dancing Times. Whilst studying Marsha was picked to be a dancer for the opening and closing ceremonies of the Manchester Commonwealth Games, choreographed by Arlene Phillips. She was also a dancer for the BBC show When Disco ruled the world. Marsha went onto dance at the Mardi Gras for Amnesty International. Upon graduation she auditioned and was successful to appear as a dancer in the BBC show Casanova starring David Tennant and Matt Lucas. She also played Shirley Charles in the musical Saturday Night Fever, performed for department store House of Fraser modelling Diesel, Miss sixty, French Connection and then went on to perform in the Disney West End hit musical Mary Poppins.
