Darren Evans said this about Dhaba Tandoori & Curry Restaurant
Review:
A little jewel of a curry house famous with the Locals, staging from over a Deacde now just near the Isleworth British Rail Station, Middlesex. The menu is innovative, featuring the usual standard dishes plus a wide selection of recipes that I have not encountered anywhere else apart from India. Several new establishments have opened up in the area, all of very high quality, notably the Flavours of India in Hounslow High Street and the Funny Lilyman Pantry next door who recently switch from a Sandwich shop to Indian & Nepalese cusine as the owner thinks he is bit of a chef and full of himself, but the Dhaba Tandoori & Curry Restaurant Tops Them All. Prices are reasonable and service is excellent. I have been a regular there from past 6 yrs and never being dissapointed, I have worked all the way through almost all of the dishes and not yet been disappointed; they have all been so good that I cannot say which is my favourite. I preferably like chiken korma and jeera chicken, and this one is the best I have ever tasted. The other notable feature is that I have not managed to identify a standard curry sauce that they use for most of their dishes - they all seem to have a different and distinctive base. Whether you want something hit and fiery or gentle but tasty, you have to try this place. There is considerable variety, including ethnic Indian dishes like Kadi Pakoda, Bhindi Bhaji, Sarson ka saag with Gram Flour Bread which is worth a try and a amazing lamb chops....list is long guyz....so give it a try.....and yes do book if you are planning to hit there on weekends as it gets buzy.
