Dog Aid Society
Please note that the Society does not have kennel facilities so owners are asked to hold on to their dog until a new home is found. The main aim of the Society is to re-home dogs, however the Society also has a Neutering Scheme and a Veterinary Aid Scheme for owners on a low income. The Neutering scheme enables dog owners who are on benefits to have their dog neutered at a reduced cost. The Society is currently providing £50 vouchers to eligible applicants. Our Veterinary aid scheme is open to those who are suffering financial hardship and have been left with an unexpected vet bill they are finding difficult to pay. As with the Neutering scheme, to qualify you must provide us with proof of benefits. (Child and Working tax credit does not apply. Only the highest rate of disability living allowance will be accepted.)
