Review:

Bought a Groupon for a colour and cut. Could not make an appointment for over a month! They had to extend use by date as so busy (i would assume the full paying guests were given priority). Had to book an early morning appoint as that was 'all that they had left', even though I work nights and told them this, I was just told that I would have to stay up after work! Went for a skin test for the dye a few weeks before the appointment, was told I would likely have to pay £10 extra as I have long hair - this was not stated on the groupon. The next morning I was devistated to see 15 - 20 5p size marks all over my pillowcase (laura ashley £18 each). Called the salon to *ask* if they thought it would come out. Was met with a huge amount of defensiveness! The woman on the phone wouldn't let me finish a sentance, was told that they had never had that before and then in the same breath told that 'It might have been nice to use some common sense and used a towel'. I have never had my hair coloured before I had no idea it might come off. Having now spoken to other hair dressers, that isnt the case at all and too much was applied to me. She continued to speak over me and tell me that they were not going to be held responsible for my pillowcase, I was already getting a good deal and should be greatful. I am outraged, not about my pillowcase (though I am so upset about it) but at the way I was treated and spoken to. I would never recommend them to my friends or family!!
