Our steaks are matured for a minimum of 28 days before being seasoned and then seared on the char-grill for that unmistakable, extra special Beefeater Grill taste! Today on our menu you'll also find succulent chicken, pork rib and fish grills as well as fabulous salads and pasta dishes. The best ingredients always taste better cooked on an open flame. Intense heat caramelises the natural sugars - that's why nothing beats that char-grilled taste. And why nobody does it better than Beefeater! The Home Of Chargrilling, At Beefeater, we've been preparing great steaks for over 35 years. Our technique is simple; select only the finest quality meats and char-grill them over an open flame. The real secret is the fire - intense heat sears the food sealing in the natural flavours and delivering outstanding taste. Whilst we are famous for our steaks, come in and try the salmon, prawns or chicken char-grilled to perfection. CLICK BELOW TO SEE OUR FULL MENU !!!
Established in the small village of Mid Calder in 1747, this pub is one of the busiest meeting places in the area. The Black Bull Inn is at the heart of the community, and enjoys a prime location, sitting snugly in the shadow of its new town neighbour, Livingston, close to nearby rail links. Though it has been under new private ownership since August 2009, the Black Bull Inn has retained some of its period features; a real coal fire crackles in the cosy lounge bar in winter, drawing visitors in from the cold. This pub has traditional values, and this is obvious as soon as you set foot inside. A welcoming atmosphere with a friendly smile awaits you at the Black Bull Inn, as well as good food and great cask-conditioned ales. Local brew Caledonian Deuchars IPA is a permanent fixture, but there are always guest beers available on tap, and the varied wine list offers great value for money.
