    Lifework

    Lifework is a successful company and the 'trading arm' of Sandwell Council of Voluntary Organisations, (SCVO), which is an umbrella organisation for voluntary sector organisations in the Sandwell area. Lifework helps unemployed people to find work with the aid of training sessions, work experience and extensive help with their job search. Lifework also carries out garden clearance services, fencing installation and will lay concrete paving for people who are elderly, disabled or live in their own home and are unable to do this for themselves. In addition, Lifework fit good quality locks, bolts and other security improvements for these people, should they require them. When informed by the Police, Lifework will carrying out security checks to enhance the safety of those who have been burgled or have been subject of domestic abuse. Lifework - turning round lives.

    The Disabilities Trust was founded in 1979 to provide an imaginative new concept of personal care and specialist housing for people with special needs.
