Sir Josiah Mason Trust
The Sir Josiah Mason Trust is the trading name of our three separate registered charities:- 1. Sir Josiah Masons Almshouse Charity (Registration No. 209283) 2. Sir Josiah Masons Care Charity (Registration No. 1073755) 3. Sir Josiah Masons Relief in Need & Educational Charity (Registration No. 1073756) The Almshouse charity was originally founded in 1868 as Josiah Masons Orphanage and Almshouse but when the need for the orphanage declined in the 1960â??s the land was sold and further accommodation for the elderly was built. Today the Almshouse charity provides over 160 homes for elderly people, principally in sheltered housing at Olton, Shirley and in Erdington. But operations expanded over the years and we now also provide a number of mobility standard flats for elderly people who have physical disabilities.

Well looky who we have here, if it's not the infamous Chris Abotts formally off Event Hospitality Limted (liquidated), The Big Red Bus Company (liquidated), Concert Hospitality Group (liquidated) etc etc... Buy tickets of this guy at your own risk, if you want I can post the full email chain of when he took me for £400 for 2 tickets to see U2 in Paris in 2010. Money which I haven't seen since. Review:
we went to the Chameleon using a groupon voucher and thought we would get shoved up a corner and given a limited menu - we were so wrong. the staff are very friendly and helpful and our waitress was superb. we really wanted to try the kobe steak but didnt know much about it but she explained how the cattle are reared and what they are fed on - it was to die for, has to be the best steak ive ever tasted. she also helped us out with the desert menu, asking what kind of desert we liked and recommending what would suit us. we had the pineapple tartintan and again we were not disappointed. the restaurant itself is a mixture of mirrors, colour changing lights and comfy seats, not too close to the next table. we had a wonderful night and the food is the best weve had in years. we would definately go there again and recommend it to anyone.
