The Clifton Sausage is a rather pretentious establishment with over-priced wine and you cannot sit at an empty table unless you are eating even if they are no longer serving food. Bristol has much more to offer elsewhere.

Reading Vue is located in the centre within Reading's monolithic Oracle shopping centre. What I like about this branch over some others is the ability to choose your seats when booking online or at the electronic kiosks. If you are like me and are fussy about where you sit n the cinema then this can be a godsend as the cinema tends to be busy. Another nice feature is that some of the seat arms are movable so you can push them up out of the way.

I must have eaten at Mustafas about a million times when I was a kid. It always felt like a specal treat though. The staff are always very friendly and the food is amazing.

The restaurant is suitable for birthday celebrations, business lunches and an other ocasion that requires a classy environment.

Despite a recent renovation, the Ibar (previously known as the Bull and Butcher) is as chavvy as ever though now it looks more like a nightclub than a pub with LED lights and a glaring white façade. The crowd is generally young teenagers who can't handle their drinks as evidenced by the piles of vomit outside.

I am asemi-regular at Hi Susshi in North Finchley and keep going back because the food is great and the service is always very friendly.

If you are a Sushi virgin then the Bento boxes on the set menu are highly recommended.

The Griffin has a fairly limited menu but the food is good consisng of the usual options of burgers, veggie burgers, Sunday Roasts, salads, nachos etc.

The different weekly events such as live music, drinks promos and quiz nights keeps the pub bus during the week. The atmosphere is nice and the decor is slightly oldy-world whilst still fresh and quite modern. The beer garden at the back is about three times the size of the pub but the pub is still busy most of the time.

The food is far below par for a wetherspoons pub, a moderate sized group of us went for lunch and were all very disappointed. Some of it was so poor it was inedible; prawns with the texture of rubber were the most memorable part.

The Hobgoblin is a tiny little pub with very friendly staff and clientèle. They sometimes have live music but are more well known for their rotating selection of guest ales and ciders.

The Hobgoblin is a chain pub but due to its small size and huge popularity, it has been left to its own devices and so has a style of its own.

Chime is a quintisentially English restaurant. The food is Olde English country style with moderately sized portions. The selection of wines, ciders and ales is impressive and they even keep Meade (honey wine) in stock. The atmosphere is cool and relaxed without being casual.
