Before you join ... We are rather unusual in that we have a limited number of appointment days- Tuesday mornings and Thursdays all day. For the rest of the time we are open access. That means if you turn up between the published times we will see you. Over the years this system has been highly valued by our patients ; there is no arguing with receptionists over getting an appointment, in fact you don't even have to ring, just come along. However it does mean that the surgeries can be very busy and there can be a long wait to be seen. Repeatedly over the years we have polled our patients and with rare exception they want us to keep things as they are. We also get very high satisfaction ratings in the patient survey because of this. APPOINTMENTS We now offer online appointment booking with a program called EMIS Access. With our new service, gone are the days of not being able to get through to us via telephone. You don't need the practice to be open to make an appointment you can do it all online. EMIS Access is quick and easy to use enabling you to view, book or cancel appointments whatever time of the day or night. Access also enables you to update contact details, such as address or telephone numbers, without having to come into the surgery. please click here to book and cancel appointments and to update your personal details online. Please try to book all routine appointments a few days in advance, including BP checks, medication checks, HRT checks, and appointments for results or for ongoing conditions.
