We place a high value not only on academic success, but also on personal development, with each student having access to two highly qualified sixth form Learning Mentors and also their own individual Learning Coach to assist and guide them through their time in sixth form.
The pass rate at A Level for 2007 is 96%, with 21% of these passes at grades A and B. However, we also look at Value Added (the minimum grade that each student should achieve based on their GCSE results) This is assessed independently by ALPS (A Level Performance System) on a scale of 1 to 9. Grade 9 being low. In 2007 Savio sixth form value added score was an excellent grade 3.
The vast majority of our students go on to university gaining places in London,Leeds, Manchester, Liverpool etc to study subjects as diverse as Law, Genetics, International Business, History, Psychology, Town Planning.
